Happy Duanwu Festival~~~~~ Remember to eat Zongzi! The egg cooked with the Zongzi is also delicious!  Zongzi also known as rice dumplings or sticky rice dumplings, are traditionally eaten during the Duanwu Festival. They’re made of glutinous rice and are stuffed with different fillings and wrapped in bamboo. Zongzi was used for commemorating the death of Qu Yuan and it’s the most profound traditional food in China’s history and cultural heritage.

NOTE: will update with translation when i find one~from what I know, zong zi are the dumplings in the pic which Chinese people eat during the Dragon Boat Festival. I suppose that’s what her update’s about. UPDATED!
