The artists of SMTOWN will be joining forces to hold a week-long concert and festival!

Dubbed ‘SMTOWN WEEK’, the festival will run a little over a week from December 21 to 29 at the Ilsan KINTEX, just in time for the holiday season. The concert will bring in all your favorite groups like TVXQ, Girls’ Generation, f(x), EXO, SHINee, and Super Junior.

Tickets can be purchased through Gmarket. Ticket sales will begin officially on November 12.

Tickets for f(x) and EXO’s joint concert will go on sale on November 14th at 8PM, prices ranging around 110,000 and 99,000WON (around $100 basically).

[NEWS] Sulli rumored to be the female lead in movie ‘Fashion King’

After the news about Joo Won being a potential male lead, rumor has it that the female lead has been cast as well for upcoming movie ‘Fashion King‘, and It’s none other than f(x)‘s Sulli!

According to sources in the movie industry, Sulli is rumored to have agreed to take on the role but is currently in the midst of negotiations to confirm her casting.

One insider said, “Sulli will be playing the female lead in ‘Fashion King’. The female lead character’s role in the story is not all that big compared to the male character. There aren’t too many scenes where she and the male lead will be acting together, but she will be appearing in the story as the male lead’s love interest to form a love line.”

As mentioned before, ‘Fashion King’ (not to be confused with the past drama or the survival variety show of the same title) is based on a popular webtoon and portrays the story of a male student who becomes interested in fashion and tries to become the most handsome and best dressed man around. The reason for his decision is due to his wish to become cool enough guy to be around the ulzzang girl in his class. Joo Won is in talks to play the male lead role, Woo Ki Myung, in the film, which will be directed by Oh Ki Hwan.

f(x)‘s Sulli is going to share her tips for weight loss that she had to “Rum Pum Pum Pum” up for the group’s latest comeback on the upcoming episode of SBS‘ ‘Star King.’

For the upcoming ‘Diet Show’ special, Sulli discussed the ‘plastic bag diet’ that helped her get into shape. Popular in Japan, the plastic bag diet consists of blowing up a plastic bag and continuously kicking it into the air using your knees or feet.

Other guests also joined in and revealed their tips to toning up on the summer special episode.

Many of you will remember that the f(x) leader was coupled with 2PM‘s Nichkhun on ‘We Got Married‘. She got the chance to share her ideas about marriage on the latest filming of KBS2‘s ‘Full House‘.

Victoria said, “I think it’d be okay to marry a Korean man. I like guys that are sensitive and sweet like announcer Jo Woo Jong too.”

She also commented on what she expects from her future husband, saying, “My future husband has to share his cell phone password with me. It’d be natural to find out after spending time together.”

Henry, who left fans ‘trapped’, will continue with his impressive debut with follow-up promotions for digital single “1-4-3 (I Love You)” featuring f(x)’s Amber!

“1-4-3 (I Love You)” is an electropop track from his debut mini album composed and written by Henry and his composer team NoizeBank. The song expresses the love story of a man who is not fluent in Korean but falls for a Korean woman and the clashes in culture and language that happen along the way.

Although previous included in this mini album, the song will be released as a single later this month, spruced up with Amber’s featuring!

[NEWS] f(x)’s Sulli will star in upcoming film ‘Pirates’

f(x)’s Sulli has been confirmed for the upcoming film ‘Pirates‘!

SM Entertainment confirmed on the 13th, “In the upcoming film ‘Pirates’, Sulli will play the role of pirate Heuk Myo [‘Black Cat’] and will team up with the pirate captain Yeo Wuhl [Son Ye Jin].” Heuk Myo will be the atmosphere maker of the pirate crew with her active and cheerful personality.

‘Pirates’, which will be directed by Lee Suk Hoon, has already been dubbed as the Korean version of the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean‘ and approximately 10 billion Won (~8.9 million USD) will be invested into the film. The upcoming movie portrays the story of a group of pirates on the hunt during the Joseon Dynasty for a whale that swallowed a valuable treasure.

Kim Nam Gil, Son Ye Jin, Lee Kyung Young, Yoo Hae Jin, Oh Dal Soo, Ahn Nae Sang, Park Chul Min, and Jo Dahl Hwan have so far already been cast for the film.

f(x)’s ‘Pink Tape’ has picked up another #1, this time on Billboard’s ‘World Albums’ and ‘K-Pop Hot 100’ chart!

‘Pink Tape’ kicked off the first week of August to a good start by topping music charts and music shows in Korea. The #1 streak now continues over at Billboard with the album topping ‘World Albums’ chart, while its title track “Rum Pum Pum Pum” took over the ‘K-Pop Hot 100’ chart.

[NEWS] f(x) reveal their ideal types

f(x) gave some interesting answers to the typical question about their ideal type!

On the August 1st broadcast of ‘Shindong’s Shimshimtapa‘, Krystal shared her ideal type, “A guy who looks good with horn-rimmed glasses, a white t-shirt, jeans, and black hair. A guy who is fun and has his own signature scent.”

Victoria also described her ideal guy, “A tall guy who doesn’t smoke, is clean, and looks good in white. A manly man who has a decently high nose and big hands. He doesn’t need to be too handsome, but he has his own smell and a pretty muscular figure.” Luna shared, “Lightly tan skin, full lips, natural hair, muscles, and looks good in training suits.”

While the rest focused on their ideal physical features, Sulli mentioned her ideal personality in a guy, saying, “Someone who is dependable, has a lot of aegyo, and listens to me well. I hope he always stays by my side. An open-minded man with natural hair who dresses neatly and is also sexy and confident.”

DJ Shindong joked, “You worked hard to give such detailed explanations. It seems Sulli chose me as her ideal type. Since an ideal type is nothing more than an ideal type, when you actually meet it doesn’t matter.”

f(x)‘s Victoria recently attended the premiere of KBS W‘s Road Variety program, ‘Glitter‘ where she revealed a physical complex she has–her legs.

When asked about her complex, she commented, “Since I exercised for 10 years, I gain muscle very easily. Because I have so much muscles on my legs, it doesn’t make a difference if I try to lose weight. It’s stressful to have a lot of leg muscles.

When asked what she does to conceal her complex she said, “I either wear garments that come right above my knees or long skirts.”
