f(x) are currently promoting their new title track “Rum Pum Pum Pum“, a song about first loves, and they recalled their own first experiences.
Backstage at ‘M! Countdown‘ on the 25th, Krystal revealed what her first love felt like and shared, “It’s a heart-fluttering feeling,” while Luna added, “Sparks fly.” On the other hand, Victoria shared that a first love is not always such a happy thing, “It hurts a little at first, but once that phase passes, you feel all right.”

The music video for “First Wisdom Tooth (Rum Pum Pum Pum),” the title track of girl group f(x)’s second full album, was released on the 24th.
The music video, which was shown via sites such as f(x)’s official homepage, SMTOWN’s Youtube channel, and SMTOWN’s Facebook, contains f(x)’s new sound, unique performance, and the diverse charms of the members.
This music video was filmed in early July in studios located in Gyeonggi-do’s Namyangju and Ilsan with Director Hong Wonki wielding the megaphone. Agency SM Entertainment confidently stated, “In order to capture f(x)’s own unique charm on film, new angles were utilized through a 360-degree rotational camera technique,” and “This will be more than enough to capture the eyes of fans.”
On the 29th at 11:11am, just ahead of the release of the tracks, f(x) will hold live broadcast event f(x)’s Music Spoiler? Play! Pink Tapevia Naver Music (http://music.naver.com/onair/fx) which will center around the members’ thoughts on coming back after a year and an introduction to the album. Group f(x) is coming back on the 25th with their full second album Pink Tape.
According to f(x)’s agency on the 19th, title track “First Wisdom Tooth (Rum Pum Pum Pum)” is a pop dance track with an impressive guitar sound that is mysterious and addictive and an exciting percussion rhythm. It is expected to give off a light and airy atmosphere with a marching band sound that adds to the rhythm blending with lyrics that go “rum pum pum pum.”
An agency representative explained, “A first love was compared to a wisdom tooth. It was solved in a unique manner, alluding a story of a true first love which happened belatedly to a wisdom tooth’s characteristic of pushing out other teeth and growing in last,” and “It will make you feel f(x)’s own unique charm, which is receiving much love with its experimental and differentiated musical color.”
f(x), who will hold their comeback performance on Mnet’s M! Countdown on the 25th, will appear on KBS2’s Music Bank on the 26th, MBC’s Show! Music Core on the 27th, and SBS’s Popular Song on the 28th in succession.
f(x) garnered anticipation for their new album beforehand with an art film, which was completed as a new form of a graphic visual project. Composed of images and a narration with a dreamlike atmosphere, it expressed the faint yet fresh feel of a first love.

f(x)‘s Victoria surprised viewers by revealing that she doesn’t know if she can get married in the future.
In the final July 16th broadcast of MBC Music‘s ‘Amazing f(x)‘, f(x) discussed where they see themselves 20 years from now.
When asked if she sees herself married, Victoria revealed, “I don’t know. I don’t think I can [get married].” Krystal added, “Well there are people who aren’t really suited for marriage.” Victoria revealed why she’s scared of marriage and continued, “If I get married, I have to give birth. I’m scared of that because it’s a painful process.”
When asked about where she thinks she’ll be 20 years from now, Amber shared, “I will probably be married by then”, to which Sulli asked, “How many kids do you plan to have?” Amber answered, “Two kids. I want to have a son first and then a daughter afterwards so the older brother can protect the younger sister.”
Victoria then remarked hilariously, “If I give birth, I want to give birth to all my children at once. When you get older, it’s better to have them all at once.”

Good news for fans of EXO as they are apparently working to promote with a follow-up song! Meanwhile, fans of f(x) will have to wait a little bit longer as no comeback date has been determined as of yet.
A rep from SM Entertainment stated through a phone call interview with Kuki News, “EXO is planned to return with a follow-up song. After promoting ‘Wolf’ for several more weeks, [EXO] is set to release their follow-up song.”
The agency also commented on f(x)’s possible comeback and revealed, “We are currently planning for their comeback but we are still looking into a specific comeback date.”

After rumors popped up in May, Krystal has been confirmed for a role in the upcoming SBS‘ drama ‘Heirs‘!
Krystal has participated in sitcoms before, but she’s never acted for a full on drama. She’ll be playing a lead role in the drama along with Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye.
The drama is a trendy drama that talks about the love and friendship of rich high school students, and it’ll start airing in October, so look forward to it!
f(x)‘s Sulli revealed her intense fear of birds on the latest episode of ‘Amazing f(x)‘.
On the June 18th show, the girls of f(x) continued crossing out items on their bucket list. They were at a lake when they came across some birds. Sulli, who was shaking, explained, “They’re so scary and gross. And even when I’m with a lot of other people, they always come to me.”
When they saw some ducks chilling on the lake, Sulli grabbed onto Victoria, yelling, “Unni. They’re so gross!” The f(x) member was so taken aback that she ended up calling Amber “oppa.” Sulli commented, “I was so shocked, I called Amber unni ‘oppa’ in that moment.”
Victoria, Luna, and Krystal comforted Sulli, while Amber chased them away by running towards them.

f(x)‘s Krystal represented all of the girls across South Korea for Adidas‘ health campaign for women!
Krystal took part in Adidas’ pop-up gym event, ‘My Girls Seoul‘, held at Olympic Park in Seoul on the 15th. Krystal joined the training party dressed in pink, showing that she was “all in for #mygirls.”
The f(x) maknae also caught the crowd’s eyes with her flexibility and looked beautiful doing each move.
