Demonstrations are spreading throughout the United States and around the world to protest the death of African-American man George Floyd. These days, many people are tired and mentally, there are many issues in our country. However, there is a simple reason to show interest in black human rights issues in faraway countries. I think expressing social solidarity with human rights issues is important in this era when the world is narrowing down! Especially, in a culture based on music inspired by black music, from the perspective of doing business in that culture, I think it is necessary to join together. Of course, there is no obligation or responsibility for everyone. Of course, I know that people who don’t know or can’t afford to pay attention to this world issue in this difficult situation, so I think it’s necessary for artists to express solidarity on behalf of human rights issues in Korea, an advanced country.
