Girl group f(x) Amber is releasing her first solo album.

According to SM Entertainment on the 5th, Amber’s 1st mini album ‘Beautiful’ will be released on the 16th and promotions will start right away.

This album contains 5 songs of various genres composed and written by Amber herself, out of which rap and dance; of course, Amber has shown us her composing skills through ‘Goodbye Summer’ from f(x)’s 2nd full album ‘Pink Tape’ and ‘Summer Lover’ from the 3rd full album ‘Red Light’, and once again her music abilities will be shown.

It has also been reported that Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon will be featured in the album’s title song, raising interest in the album.

Since her debut with f(x) in 2009, Amber has received a lot of popularity for her music skills and tomboy image.

Recently, Amber has appeared on MBC ‘Real Men’ Female Special showing a unique appearance and catching the eyes of viewers.

Girl group f(x)’s Amber will release a solo album in February of next year.

Although Amber was the last f(x) member to have individual activities, she will be the first to release a solo album.

Taiwanese-American Amber has started working on the album recently, aiming for a February 2015 release.

Unlike other f(x) members who have taken up acting, Amber wants to promote with a different style of music.

Having an androgynous and friendly appearance, to female fans who have given her a lot of support Amber is not a vocalist but a powerful rapper.

As her main role was ‘rapper Amber’, the revealing of her hidden singing skills attracted a lot of interest. Being the first member to have a solo album has particularly given Amber a good start.

Currently, Amber is an MC on KBS 2TV ‘Global Request Show A Song for You Season 3’ and starring on variety program MBC Music ‘One Fine Day’ and working on her album during her spare time.

Meanwhile, f(x) are currently having individual activities after their short promotion period for 3rd album ‘Red Light’.

Sulli has appeared on the big screen with movies ‘Pirates’ and ‘Fashion King’, Krystal has continued drama activities after being in ‘The Heirs’ last year and recently starring in “My Lovely Girl’. Victoria is currently filming movie ‘My Sassy Girl 2’ along with actor Cha Taehyun, aiming for a release next year. Luna is rising on the musical stage after appearing on ‘Legally Blonde’ and ‘High School Musical’.
