[NEWS] f(x)’s Luna Surprises With Choice Of Genre For Solo Debut Title Track
Luna of f(x) will be debuting solo with a dance track, announces SM Entertainment. Along with the news, the agency also releases additional teaser photos which showcase the singer’s ethereal beauty.
Luna’s title track from her first solo album, “Free Somebody,” will be a dance track, not a ballad, breaking from expectations most people have of a solo debut from the vocalist of a girl group.
“Free Somebody” is an electronic pop dance track, with a future house sound. The lyrics describe the desire of wanting to help someone find their true self so they can freely live their dream.
Luna has prepared a unique performance for the song that matches the genre, showcasing “both powerful and groovy elements.”
Luna will be holding a “Luna Free Somebody Preview” show through the SMTOWN channel on Naver V app on May 30, 11 p.m. KST, to talk to fans about her solo debut.
Luna’s first solo mini album, “Free Somebody,” will be released May 31 offline and online.

As you might know, Sulli’s Instagram isn’t active anymore. (It’s not deleted, as you can see on my screen cap above. Possibly private)
I have a tag for her Instagram updates on this site, however, I added everything as widgets and since the photos aren’t available on IG itself anymore, they don’t show up on my site either.
It’ll take a while for me to replace every single photo, so until then, I’ll be gradually compiling all her photos in a Dropbox folder, which I’ll be linking on this post. The photos are not in chronological order! It’s not done yet, I still have several months worth of photos to go through and I’m too busy with school at the moment. Krystal is filming ‘Graduation Season’, I’m actually in my graduation season hahahaha

[NEWS] f(x)’s Amber Reportedly In Talks To Join Cast Of New tvN Drama “Entourage”
On May 5, SM Entertainment stated to news outlet OSEN that Amber received an offer to star in tvN’s “Entourage,” and they are positively considering it.
Previously, it was reported that Amber was already confirmed as a part of the cast, contrary to SM’s statement.
“Entourage” is a remake of the U.S. HBO show of the same name, and will show the realities of the Korean entertainment system. It will highlight elements from the original show, while making it more relatable to a Korean audience.
So far, actors Seo Kang Joon, Lee Kwang Soo, Park Jung Min, and Lee Dong Hwi are all confirmed for the show. Actor Jo Jin Woong is also confirmed as Kim Eun Gab, one of the main characters.
Amber has been offered the role of Kim Eun Gab’s personal assistant, also known as Jay Jung. In the U.S. version of the show, her character is actually male, but will be changed to a female for the upcoming Korean production.
If she does end up taking the role, it will be the idol’s first time acting since her debut. Many are excited to see how Amber will do as the last f(x) member to potentially begin acting.
Meanwhile, “Entourage” will air sometime in the second half of the year.

[NEWS] Kesha Reacts To f(x)’s Krystal Using One Of Her Old Demo Tracks
On May 5, Kesha expressed her surprise at how Krystal used one of her old demos in an ad for cosmetics brand Etude House. The demo, titled “Butterscotch,” was initially intended to be included on Kesha’s debut album.
Kesha wrote on Twitter, “Never know when and HOW??? one of your old songs will find a new life…” and shared a link to an article covering the Etude House ad.
It’s not the first time a Kesha demo has been used in K-pop, either; in 2008, the singer recorded a demo for “Run Devil Run,” which was then turned into a single and promoted by Krystal’s label mates Girls’ Generation in 2010.

[NEWS] Rain And f(x)’s Victoria To Headline New Chinese Drama
Rain and f(x) member Victoria are slated to headline a drama together.
According to Chinese media outlet Xinhua News on May 6, the two stars have been confirmed as leads of Chinese drama, “Endless August” (working title).
The production crew of “Endless August” is reportedly aiming to begin filming some time between mid-June and late June. Filming will take place in a variety of cities, including Shanghai and Suzhou, China and Montreal, Canada.
Meanwhile, “Endless August” is based on the titular short story written by Chinese online literary sensation Anni Baobei. A mellow love story, “Endless August” has enjoyed great popularity among online readers in their twenties and thirties.
