13 shows left of Tour X with @ajol_llama . (Should we star in “The Shining II?” Or perhaps the next M. Night horror? Or start a new 3 piece emo band?) On a more serious note: One thing I love about touring is watching the other performers, but even more importantly, watching them off stage as well. It’s fun to see how they keep their voice in tip top shape, what equipment they use, what microphone they prefer, but it’s always so enlightening to see how they handle the exhausting and rigorous schedule of touring itself. Moving from city to city, your schedule always changing, so many new people around. Dealing with so many different and new demands that arise daily. Amber is an impressive and captivating performer without a doubt, but Amber as a person is what gives her “star quality.” Although, one of the reasons she is awesome is because if she heard me say she has “star quality” she’d probably 🤢🤮. Firstly, she can carry my suitcase up a flight of stairs like it weighs nothing. Secondly, she treats everyone on tour with respect and care. Her schedule, just from an outsiders perspective, (🙋🏽‍♀️), seems exhausting but she handles it with gratitude and patience. On a day off in Seattle, I walked 5 minutes in the freezing rain, bundled up, thinking “Screw this weather,” only to look down at my phone at a group text: “Going for a run if anyone wants to join.” (Amber) 😱😱🥶🥶🙅🏽‍♀️🙅🏽‍♀️ She also always looks effortlessly cool while I struggle in my winter thermals, mom jeans, and puffy jackets. Meg and I have been on tour since 2005, and we’ve had the pleasure (and… in some instances, the unfortunate just-pretend-it’s-over-already) opportunity to tour with other musicians. This tour is only halfway through, but it’s been a true delight to have the opportunity to be a part of. A big thank you to our agent, @ryansoroka & our team at KMGMT for always scoping out opportunities for us.❤️❤️❤️ And of course, thank you to Amber and her team for welcoming us into the tour family. 😭❤️🙏🏼 📸 @courtneykiara

今年能在家过生日很开心，20200202果然很特别，真的，不一样的感受，也是个不一样的2020，难得回家也更加珍惜和家人在一起的时光，希望还在家里的人也跟我一样，珍惜在家里的时光，好好“充电”！已经出门在外的人一定要好好保护自己！大家的祝福都收到了，谢谢你们[太开心]希望所有人都能平平安安的，我们一起共度难关！感恩🙏[心]
